Meet Dr. Fred Darcy

Dr. Fred Darcy completed his undergraduate studies at Marist College and received his dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Fred is a current member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA), and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2024, Fred traveled to Washington, DC to lobby on behalf of the NJDA and ADA for students and patients. 


Outside of work, Dr. Fred enjoys spending his weekends visiting his girlfriend Alex in Long Island. Fred also enjoys road cycling and carpentry. You may even catch Dr. Fred playing bagpipes in the town of Clinton for both the St. Patrick’s Day and Christmas parades.

Education

Rutgers School of Dental Medicine

While in dental school, Fred achieved stellar grades in prosthodontics and lab courses. He was an ambassador for both the Gateway to Dentistry and Decision for Dentistry programs for two years. He was a tutor for Operative III during lab classes and assistant proctor for exams.  

Marist College

Graduated cum laude with a BA in Biochemistry and Minor in English Theatre. Played many on-stage rolls during both musicals and dramas, served as scenic designer for Hello Dolly! and crew advisor for scenic construction. American Chemical Society club vice president for the Marist College chapter. TA for organic and analytical chemistry labs.
